CALL FOR BOYCOTT AGAINST THE FRADULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES OF FUNHI.COM

"Members are banned for spamming."

"Your privacy will not be infringed on in any way."

Funhi.com, an organization under CEO Ray Savant, stands by these two premises, however, their rules do not necessarily apply to all members in fair and equal treatment.

On November the 11th, a member who goes by the alias of iknomoo, was banned from the "exclusive" site known as funhi.com for "willfully spamming." Spamming, as defined by dictionary.com is "to abuse any network service or tool for promotional purposes."

However, at least five members to date have been found to be in clear violation of this definition, all employing blatant "spamming techniques" for the following: butigroove.com, yahoo.com, importfactor.com, babeblvd.com and the magazine FHM. With a combination of at least 10,000 fans between these five members, who also ironically happen to be models, this is much more "willfull" spam exposure than the 400 or so fans that member iknomoo had to her credit before her dismissal. Should spamming be a tenet to which funhi.com holds dear, then they should in all fairness, also apply their rules to the other members, or else funhi.com should lift this rule, which would allow ex-member iknomoo rightful re-entry.

Next, the funhi.com administration admits that they discovered ex-member iknomoo's alleged "spamming" by the careful monitoring of her "private" messages on the site for "weeks at at time." This suggestion directly and flagrantly goes against their business policy, which suggests that they do, in fact, "do not infringe on member privacy in any way."

Furthermore, in one of its worst actions to date, on November 14th and November the 15th, Funhi.com has been abridging the freedom of speech, which is protected for Americans under the First Amendment. During the petition author's attempts to post these flagrant injustices throughout the website, Funhi.com administration disallowed those posts by refreshing the browsers and simulatenously erasing the content of these posts. Without the First Amendment, protestors petitioning for change could be silenced, so it comes as no surprise that Funhi.com is interested in robbing members of their rights granted to them under the protection of this amendment.

Therefore, after consequent attempts to resolve this directly with funhi.com administration, and the members have been met with no answers or offerings to correct this situation, we sign this petition in complete dissatisfaction with the website known as funhi.com. Clearly, funhi.com and its administrators are only interested in their bottom line and have compromised the needs and RIGHTS of its members by unfair and unequal practices.

The requirements of the Better Business Bureau insist that complaint holders must wait ten (10) business days from the complaint to the organization in the form of a petition. Therefore, on November the 25th, 2004, the petition author will begin the process towards submittal of said petition to the Better Business Bureau. The BBB researches ALL alleged problems experienced with the services or products that a company provides and/or fails to provide. However, because the BBB will not investigate businesses that are involved in litigation, the petition author will hold off on legal measures until the administration of funhi.com has made it ABSOLTELY CLEAR that it is unwilling for an amicable settlement or mediation with regards to this case. The members of funhi.com are very interested in settling this matter immediately. However, we refuse to settle without our demands being met.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, would like the following demands met by the administrators of Funhi.com:

1) Send an invitation apologizing and inviting the banished member known as iknomoo back to the website in her original state.

2) Ensure that the customers of funhi.com are given customer satisfaction and are provided with what they are paying for by providing customer satisfaction forms on the website.

3) A public apology, on the front page of said website, funhi.com, that sincerely apologizes for the behavior of which the administrators have been found guilty.

Until these demands are met, the undersigned stand together in full denouncement of the site known as funhi.com by pledging to a complete boycott, by adamantly and permanently refusing to "donate" any more funds towards this organization.

Funhi.com will NOT change unless there is a combined effort to stand up and MAKE them change! Therefore, we, the members of Funhi.com, call upon ALL people WORLDWIDE who believe in fair and equal treatment under the law, consumer rights, and America's First Amendment rights to BOYCOTT Funhi.com!
