End Illegal Immigration sign now

We, the people of the United States of America, believe that the United States government has the responsibility of ensuring the safety of the American people to the greatest extent possible. This includes the prevention of illegal immigration. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law defines the term "illegal" as "contrary to or in violation of a law." We, the undersigned, believe that illegal immigration should be treated by the federal government as criminal, just as any other illegal activity would.

This includes:

1. Securing our borders. The United States of America must secure borders that prevent persons from entering the country illegally. We must secure all borders, including the U.S.-Mexico border, the U.S.-Canada border, and the coastal borders on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This shall include, if necessary, the construction of a wall or fence that cannot be climbed, tunneled under, or otherwise crossed illegally.

2. Deportation of immigrants currently in the United States. We must ensure that all illegal immigrants currently living in the United States are promptly deported and returned to their native country. This must be done to protect the safety and well-being of legal residents and citizens of the United States of America. Many of the illegal immigrants living in this country are involved in some sort of criminal activity, which may include the sale of illegal drugs, vehicular crimes, and homicide. The deportation of illegal immigrants would also return American resources to the American people.

3. The establishment of English as the official language of the United States. English has always been the primary language of America. We, the undersigned, believe that this should be maintained now and in the future. We must offer English-language courses to legal immigrants who do not already speak English. We must not provide government services in Spanish, French, or any other language besides English. We must also require that companies label, distribute, and provide support for products in English only. People will be less compelled to enter the United States if they know that products and services will not be available in their native language. We must, however, ensure that English is promoted in such a way that will not discourage people from entering the United States legally.

4. Promotion of legal immigration. Immigration is an important part of American history. It has built the foundation for America as it is today. We must offer better and more well-enforced guest worker programs that would allow persons to enter the United States legally for a limited period of time. This is important in ensuring that we preserve what may be the most important tradition of the United States of America.
