Electricity crisis Pakistan sign now

People of Pakistan is facing the menace of load shedding since so many years but since last two years load shedding crisis in Pakistan has increased drastically.

After February 2008 election, ruling government Water and Power development minister promised publicly that after 31st December 2009 there will be no load shedding at all in Pakistan. 31st December 2009 came and went but load shedding crisis has taken a form of national disaster with cities facing up to 8-10 hours of load shedding and rural areas facing up to 12-14 hours of load shedding.

It has come into notice that from Nov 2010 Government of Pakistan has planned to increase Power tariff by 2 percent a month with total hike planned is 35 percent, but no ending schedule of load shedding has been given by government of Pakistan what so ever, hence People of Pakistan request Government of Pakistan to look into this matter and give people of Pakistan the deadline for overcoming load shedding crisis.

We the people of Pakistan request Supreme Court of Pakistan to stop price hike in Power tariffs till Government of Pakistan give complete schedule of eradicating load shedding, in case no action taken by Government of Pakistan and Supreme Court of Pakistan, a mass campaign will be run across the country to boycott electricity bills which will further strengthen crisis for Government of Pakistan
