Demand for Nullification and Justice sign now

All of us by now are aware of the recent cases of molestation that took place in and around the University campus, on the 15th and 16th of September when the police recruitment and lower division clerk examinations were being conducted. A mob of some 250 men pounced on female students and passed lewd comments, heckled and even tore off their clothes. In view of the above, students of the University hereby begin an online campaign to mobilize others, and garner support for our ongoing movement. We hereby state that our foremost demand is the immediate nullification of the Police Recruitment Examination. We also demand the suspension of all patrolling officers in and around the campus, who failed miserably in their duties on the above mentioned dates. You are requested to sign and show your support, and hence join us in this endeavor.

This is the saddest of senarios... I fully agree with the petitioners that the entire exam be scrapped and severe action taken against Delhi Police Officials who were present, yet did nothing. This reflects the grotesqueness of the claim of the Delhi Poli

Its disappointing and a matter of great concern that even after 60 yrs of independence women are facing such situations and the police fails to protect them.

If this is an insight to what our future police officers would be, then girls ought to be scared more of the police than anybody else, so Mr. Home Minister. you must do something for the sake and safety of the women of the nation!!!
