Dean Stevenson Reinstatement sign now

I, Dean Stevenson, served a one-day suspension for a conversation I had with another teenager about a certain teacher at Brentsville.

The conversation went (to the best of my recollection) in this fashion:
Myself: *Insert Teachers Name Here*
Student #2: haha, I bet youd tear that p**** up
Student #2: I wonder if she ever incorporates physics into s**
Myself: hahaha
Student #2: like the velocity of his sp**m as he busts
Myself: or the velocity of his hips when he thrusts
Please note all references of him and/or his refers to her husband and that this conversation is an imitation, and is not accurate for word to word, just for the idea.

I published this conversation onto my Myspace website. In turn for my comment, a referral that promised three days of out-of-school suspension was given to me. I appealed this decision to a board of five teachers at Brentsville, where I had the sentence reduced to a single day. I was allowed to appeal this decision, but because I was allowed to make up any work I missed, and was told there would be nothing that follows you by the administration (through high school or to college), I grudgingly accepted my suspension. Now, nearly a month later, I have lost my position as Senior Class President because of my suspension and a Virginia Tech Administration Officer told me on April 29th, 2006 that any suspension that occurs after the application is due is under review and CAN make my offer of admission be withdrawn.

While I appealed my suspension, I made any sort of amends that I could, and tried to do more than that what the administration wished of me. I offered written apologies, public statements, give speeches, serve detentions, and any other possible way of making up for a stupid mistake that I feel has been blow out of proportion. I did give the teacher a face-to-face apology, and she gave me a hug. She told me that she would have not even followed up on the situation if it had been up to her. On top of that voluntary apology, I put up a (voluntary) public apology on the same Myspace that had the incident, hoping that those I might have influenced by having that conversation on it would check it again and realize the stupidity in it. I left this apology up until about a week and a half ago.

If you believe that this suspension should be dropped from my record under false pretenses from the Brentsville Administration, please sign this petition.
