Communicom needs Competition sign now

To Westlake Residents:

For the past 10+ years Communicom Services has been our ONLY means of internet. We have had to put up with the slow internet connections, the internet outages (that happen a lot) , the two weeks to get the repair guy to come to your house and the high prices. I dont know about you but I am ready for another internet/cable provider to offer their services here.

On August 13, 2010, I contacted the Westlake Mayors office to ask why we dont have another provider or why wont another provider come into Westlake. The answer that I got was: We have tried to get some other providers to come into Westlake but no one is interested. I then called around to Cameron Communication, Suddenlink and AT&T to speak with someone about this. I left my name and number to all but receive no return call.

Then on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, Paula Johnson who is running for Mayor came by to campaign. I began to tell her about the problem Westlake had with only having one internet/ cable provider. She told me that at the Westlake Agenda meeting on Monday August 16th, a representative from Suddenlink proposed/ ask if they could run their lines into Westlake and offer their services to Westlake residents.
How exciting!!! BUT the city council has to vote on it and before they do, it has to be brought up and talked about in the next agenda meeting (which is September 13th 2010 at 5:30).

So, I am getting this petition together to present to the city at the agenda meeting on September 13th to show the city, that Westlake residents need and want Suddenlink to bring their services here.
If you would like to see Suddenlink services offered in Westlake and would consider changing your services from Communicom to Suddenlink, Please sign your name below.

Also, the more people we have at the agenda meeting on September 13th at 5:30, the greater our chances of the city council approving Suddenlink Services being offered in Westlake. That means better services and cheaper rates!!! Now..Whos with me??

I am in no way affiliated with Suddenlink. I am just a Westlake resident who wants to see change!
