CNN Boycott sign now

Angelina Jolie appeared on CNN to speak about the UNHCR. She was barely asked one question about the UNHCR before the interview was redirected to questions concerning the relationship between her and Brad Pitt. The viewers were cheated of a chance to hear about important issues that we will have no other way of learning about, because CNN wanted to broadcast gossip instead of news.

It's pathetic that CNN would rather focus on the gossip about Angelina and Brad in order to get ratings, than to focus on issues that actually matter.

This petition calls for a boycott of CNN and a viewer switch to BBC, until some kind of apology is aired and a real interview concerning the UNHCR is given. This petetion will be forwarded to CNN, Time Warner, and many of the companies that advertise on CNN such as... Yahoo, Netscape, Chase, Equifax, Johnson & Johnson, Time, Fortune Magizine, and others. The petition also calls for a boycott of all products advertized on CNN until ammends have been made. If ratings are what they are concerned about instead of NEWS then maybe this will change their perspective.
