Citizens Against Virgin Mobile sign now

We the undersigned, call on Virgin Mobile USA to improve the overall quality of customer service that is currently being provided. As consumers of the products/services that you provide, we believe that there is, at a minimum, a standard that should be met, and Virgin Mobile is failing miserably. Virgin Mobiles consistent refusal, (as evidenced by the numerous complaints filed on various compalint sites on the internet - including your very own "Fan Page" on Facebook), to at the very least, meet minimum standards is unacceptable and we're asking for an overhaul immediately.

The lists of complaints are numerous and varied, and include:
Failure to provide services as advertised;
Employing a bait & switch tactic in order to garner new business/users;
Suspending service after bill is paid;
Failure to provide correct amount/number of minutes although those minutes have been paid for;
Unauthorized charges/double billing to customers credit/debit accounts and failing to reimburse/refund those erroneous debits in a timely fashion;
Knowingly providing customers with unreliable phones and refusing to compensate them for it;
Double taxing customers who purchase top-up cards from local retailers/vendors (and therefore have already paid a tax);
Failure to provide quality customer service to include customer service reps, (including supervisors, senior supervisors, etc.), providing erroneous information; failing to respond to email inquiries in a timely fashion; providing more than just rote and practised responses if and when those emails are responded to.

The list above are the more frequent ones that are cropping up on the internet. As a major corporation with a vested interest in remaining a viable option for pre-paid cell phone users, one would think that Virgin Mobile would take these complaints seriously and implement standards and practices to help improve their reputation.

This petition is a last-ditch effort on behalf of the undersigned, to give Virgin Mobile the opportunity to rectify the situations that have been brought to their attention. Failure to do so could possibly result in the filing of a class action lawsuit against Virgin Mobile, on behalf of the undersigned, to not only bring attention to the on-going issues as described above, but possibly compensation for the abuses of our trust and good faith in your organization.

As such, we call on Virgin Mobile to make an immediate, public effort to improve on their level and quality of service. We also ask that Virgin Mobile enact some sort of guarantee, as a good-faith effort, ensuring their current and future customers that our concerns are being heard and responded to.
