Citizen AMENDMENT TO the SENATE HEATH CARE BILL sign now

AMENDMENT TO H.R. _________________,
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
PROPOSED BY Mr. REID (for himself, Mr. BAUCUS,Mr. DODD, and Mr. HARKIN)
IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES111th Congress 11/18/2009
----------------------------------------------------------------------------OFFERED BY MS. LISA MORELL OF CONNECTICUT, U.S.A. AND ALL UNDERSIGNED AMERICAN CO-SPONSORS 11/19/09
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PURPOSE: TO SAVE BILLONS OF DOLLARS FOR THE AMERICAN ECONOMY/TAXPAYERS BY AMENDMENT/AND REPEAL LIFETIME HEATH CARE BENEFITS AND PENSIONS FOR THE UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATE
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

As WE THE PEOPLE have duly elected (hired) you to represent and protect our interests and freedoms afforded to us by OUR FOUNDING FATHERS, and insofar as we have charged you with this privilege to serve us, and uphold our Constitution; we find you instead contemptuously and blatantly abusing the powers we have given you. We, the undersigned, have determined that you have breached your contract with us, your employer, by ignoring our voices, and believe the benefits we have afforded to you shall be repealed.

Sec.1- Health Care Benefits:
(Background) As soon as members of Congress are sworn in, they may participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP). The program offers an assortment of health plans from which to choose, including fee-for-service, point-of-service, and health maintenance organizations (HMOs). In addition, Congress members can also insure their spouses and their dependents.
Not only does Congress get to choose from a wide range of plans, but theres no waiting period. Unlike many Americans who must struggle against precondition clauses or are even denied coverage because of those preconditions, Senators and Representatives are covered no matter what - effective immediately.
The government pays up to 75 percent of the premium. That government, of course, is funded by taxpayers, the same taxpayers who often cannot afford health care themselves.
**For an extra $300 (House) or $600 (Senate) per month, have access to a Capitol Hill team of doctors, nurses and other medical personnel; ALSO SUBSIDIZED BY WE THE PEOPLE.

ALL U.S. Representatives/Senators will be responsible for 50 percent of their health care premiums
WE THE PEOPLE will no longer subsidize or contribute in any way for your immediate and easy access to health care services on Capitol Hill
Representatives/Senators will no longer be afforded LIFETIME health care insurance, regardless of service time
ALL UN-SEATED U.S. REPRESENTATIVES/SENATORS WILL ABIDE BY THE UNITED STATES NEW HEATH CARE REFORM BILL, JUST AS THE CITIZENRY THAT THEY HAVE IMPOSED IT ON

Sec.2- Pay Raises/Cost of Living:
Members of both Houses shall no longer be able to vote themselves pay raises or cost of living raises. We the PEOPLE who have employed you to serve our interests believe you may not afford yourselves the right to determine your raise; just as we are beholden to our employers, so too, are you.
Pay raises will be determined by the Representatives CONSTITUENTS, WE THE PEOPLE, the same as your CONSTITUENTS raises are determined by our own employers
Each State (employer) shall hold a referendum on whether or not their Representatives in office deserve a salary or COLA increase, and what that increase should be (PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE)

Sec. 3- Life Time Benefits:
Representatives will no longer be eligible for lifetime benefits after serving for five years, including a pension, health benefits, and social security benefits, and all other perks
Pensions, social security benefits, and all other perks will be paid only for those Representatives having served for 20 years, and will be eligible at age 62
As stated above in HEALTH CARE BENEFITS, NO REPRESENITIVE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR LIFE TIME HEALTH CARE BENEFIT

As you consider voting on a government takeover of our economy, our bodies, and our freedoms, please be mindful of the 10.2\% and rising unemployment rate, as you will be part of the reason that rate continues to rise in 2010.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Every man is equally entitled to protection by law;
but when the laws undertake to add artificial
distinctions, to grant titles, gratuities, and exclusive
privileges the humble members of society have
a right to complain of the injustice of their
government."
President Andrew Jackson, July 10, 1832
