CIRA to Distinguish Between Personal and Business URLs in dot-ca Domain Name Registrations sign now

We ask that the Canadian Internet Registry Authority (CIRA) designate differences between personal and business URLs through the process by which they permit websites to have the dot-ca domain name registration.

For example, in the United States of America business websites end in dot-com while government agencies end in dot-gov. In the United Kingdom business websites end in dot-co-dot-uk while government departments end in dot-gov-dot-uk. There is no difference in the domain name registration for Canada so all websites, businesses and government departments, end in dot-ca.

Not only is this confusing for Internet users but we believe it to be irresponsible and must be rectified.
