Charlie Sheen back on "Two and a Half Men" sign now

Dear visitors, dear Charlie Sheen and Two and a Half Men fans,

very sad news came up in the beginning of march 2011 when CBS has announced that Charlie Sheen was removed from the staff of their very succesfull and incredibly awesome TV show called "Two and a Half men" and his contract was determined. Since then the news were full of all kind of stuff about CBS, Two and a Half men and of course Charlie Sheen itself. Bad things were said, have happened and both sides have (more or less) offended eachother in public shows and interviews.

The shootings of the last episodes the current 8th season of Two and a Half men were interrupted and currently no one knows how Warner Bros. Television and CBS will proceed in that very difficult situation. The internet was full of people guessing and assuming what is going to happen, from "the show is going to end" over "Sheen is going back" there were everything just as "Sheen will be replaced". Alright, just let me say one personal word at this moment: Sheen cannot be replaced! That is just impossible, "Two and a Half men" is not Charlie Sheen, but Charlie Sheen _is_ "Two and a Half men". believe it or not, most fans will not be that interested anymore as it is not the same. Believe me - the show is going to die without him.

However, Sheen was probably fired because of his conflict with the producer of the show called Chuck Lorre. But, ladies and gentlemen, if I would ask you 'Who is more important to "Two and a Half men", Chuck Lorre or Charlie Sheen?', what would you answer? Let me just take a guess: You would say Charlie Sheen. And that was just about right!

There are not many options for Warner Bros. Television and CBS at this moment, as Sheen cannot be replaced. The only possibilites are to get rid of Chuck Lorre and stop the work with him or to get both - Sheen and Lorre - work together again. I assume both are professional enough to manage that, and even if Charlie Sheen is going to tough weeks right now, he will win, anyway. Let's assume CBS/Warner Bros. Television will not get Sheen back and end the show. They will lose incdredibly much money as "Two and a Half men" is one of the most famous und succesfully TV shows during the past 10 years and especially right now! And if they replace Sheen the show would not die that fast, but it would die sooner or later (rather sooner, much sooner!).

I, and everyone who is going to sign this petition, ask you, Warner Bros. Television, CBS and also Chuck Lorre: Give it a new start, talk with Charlie Sheen, manage the problems that occured and handle it like business men, yes the word "men" is very important here, not because of the name of your show, but because currently you are running away from the problems by firing Charlie Sheen and you just gave up. Focus on the problems, and solve them. Send Sheen to rehab hospital if it is needed and give him the 3 million dollar he asked for. Yes, this is a lot of money, but just imagine how much money you would throw away with cancelling the show directly or the silly replacing of Charlie Sheen, that is not possible anyway! It would be dozen amounts of the money Charlie Sheen would earn with that pay raise!
