Canon Rebates - Systematic Denial of Claims sign now

We the undersigned are very upset and dissatisfied with your rebate programs that are dishonestly and deceptively run by the Young America Corporation. The Young America Corporation has been systematically denying legitimate rebate claims for several years now as documented by numerous online discussions and customer reports. Young America makes false claims about incorrect or invalid UPC codes and numerous other bogus and made up excuses in order to deny claims. The incredible frequency of people's reports of similar "mistakes" in the handling of their rebate claims clearly points to a culpable pattern of intentional abuse and dishonesty on the part of Young America. When people contact Young America, the story is nearly the same every time: they try to argue with you briefly and then they put you on hold and then miraculously come back to tell you that everything is fine and that the problems are fixed and you will get your full rebate. Some people have reported that even after being promised that everything is fixed, checks were never mailed or there were other check printing and payment errors. All of these tactics are clearly being used by Young America Corporation to systematically frustrate claimants and ultimately to deny rebate payments.

However, the majority of the blame for this systematic deception and dishonesty does not fall on Young America, but rather it falls on Canon Inc. It is Canon who is ultimately responsible and it is Canon who has a reputation to uphold. Their use of Young America for rebate claims and their use of rebates in general (instead of fair pricing) is both intentional and systematic as well. I'm sure they are fully aware of the methods that are being utilized at Young America to deny rebate claims.

We the undersigned hope that this petition makes it clearly known to Canon that we as loyal Canon customers are frustrated with the dishonest behavior carried out by Young America and ultimately by the company responsible for contracting their services, Canon Inc. We hope that these signatures will implore you to adopt more honest pricing methods and to immediately cease in utilizing Young America for any rebate claims.
