C&W Customers Demand Good Service & Fair Prices sign now

We, the undersigned, are unhappy with Cable & Wirelesss poor service quality and excessive prices.

We are particularly unhappy with Cable & Wirelesss failure to visibly upgrade their fixed wireless internet network and properly accommodate for the additional loads created by their ever increasing customer base. We are upset that the majority of home or small business customers are not regarded as highly as minority mission-critical customers (gaming and bank clients), and have subsequently been overlooked with regard to redundant technologies in the event of service failures despite the relatively high prices we all pay each month for our internet services.

For many months now, Cable & Wirelesss fixed wireless internet quality and speed has dramatically degraded, and our many calls to technical support have been grossly ignored. We have also not been reimbursed for the service failures or degradations despite our complaints to technical support and no one at Cable & Wireless has made any visible efforts to actively credit the accounts of customers that have been negatively affected by service outages.

Finally, despite the many advances in broadband technology over the last 3 years alone, we have not seen any truly significant reduction in costs for hardware we are forced to buy or lease, or the monthly prices we are forced to pay. This point is particularly relevant now that Cable & Wirelesss sanctioned monopoly is said to have ended December 31st of 2005. We have not seen any of the benefits of economies of scale passed onto us in terms of pricing, and we certainly have not received any service improvements despite technological advances. This is unacceptable. Where the rest of the world has seen broadband speeds increase sometimes 10-fold and prices dropping in many cases by more than half, we, the customers of Cable & Wireless are stuck overpaying for substandard speeds and unreliable service.

We, the fixed wireless internet customers of Cable & Wireless demand the following three things:

1) A public apology acknowledging the companys failure to provide the service your customers pay for.
2) Full reimbursement or account credit to all affected customers for every day our internet speed or service was not operating at the full capacity we paid for, and a strong commitment to institute a policy of voluntarily reimbursing customers for service failures in the future.
3) A fifty per-cent (50\%) reduction in fixed wireless internet prices by the end of 2006. If this cannot be done, then we want to know why. We want to know exactly how much the broadband costs Cable & Wireless, and how much of a margin is tacked on before reselling it to your customers for a profit.

Once these three fair demands are fulfilled, the CandWSucks.org website will be disabled and an announcement made on behalf the undersigned that Cable & Wireless has acknowledged its failures and has listened to and respected its customers as evidenced by positive action.
