Bring Back the Communist Blacklist sign now
In our current day and age, free thought is being promoted more and more. The Patriot Act is one of the few things we have left to stop anti-american ideas. But what about communism? In the 60's, even admitting to being a communist meant public discrimination and blacklisting. But now, communists are not only given the right to openly admit their political oppinions, but are even allowed their own political party in our country. I am appalled that our country has sunk so low as to allow the likes of communists in our ranks. Although we are far from erradicating communism from the United States of America, there are many small steps we can take to create a more healthy political environment. It is fact that during the time where communists were blacklisted, there were not only a smaller amount of communists, but less acceptance of communism in society. In order to quell the political outcries of communists everywhere, it is neccesary that we bring back the blacklist not only in Hollywood, but society as a whole. By blacklisting all known and suspected communists, we can continue to keep the United States a pure country and a free market.
