Bring back Fifteen to One and put it on ITV-1 - Monday - Friday at 4.45pm and also Bring Countdown to ITV-1 - Monday - Friday at 5.15pm sign now

We the undersigned request that Fifteen to One be brought back and put on ITV-1 and Countdown be moved from Channel 4 and put on ITV-1 as well.

Fifteen to One and Countdown have been Channel 4's godsends for years but recently Channel 4 bosses have treated both shows terribly. Fifteen to One has been axed altogether and Countdown has been moved to 3.15pm when it had occupied first the 4.30pm and then the 4.15pm timeslot for twenty one years out of twenty one. It wouldn't have bothered me Countdown moving back to 3.15pm if and only if they had put something decent on in its old timeslot at 4.15pm but no what do they put on A Place in the Sun. Another decent quiz show with a format that worked wouldn't have gone a miss. After all these years on the air and been the very first ever programme on Channel 4 back on 2nd November 1982 Countdown deserves some kind of reward. If Channel 4 bosses can't treat Countdown with the respect it deserves then I'm afraid it would be better taken off Channel 4 and moved to ITV-1 at 5.15pm the teatime slot. ITV-1 have currently got problems with that teatime slot not knowing what to put on. The two soaps Night and Day and Crossroads were bloody disasters and I am still not convinced by what is on at 5.15pm to this very day. If ITV-1 did get the rights to Countdown it would kill two birds with one stone. Countdown would have a better timeslot and more people would be around at 5.15pm than 3.15pm to watch it and ITV-1 would solve its teatime slot problem once and for all. Countdown goes out all year round so ITV bosses wouldn't have to worry about that teatime slot every again because Countdown has a format that works and has had the same format for twenty four years out of twenty four. The fact of the matter is because the format of Countdown hasn't changed since its inception is the reason it has lasted this long where as every other programme on Channel 4 has bitten the dust. Oh by the way you do know that Countdown is the one and only programme still going on Channel 4 to this very day since day one now there's a bit of trivia for you and as I have already said it was also the very first programme broadcast on Channel 4 back on 2nd November 1982. A great achievement don't you think to outlive every other programme on Channel 4 and still be here in the twenty first century.
