Ban Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick sign now

Remove the product Sergeant's Gold Flea & Tick for dogs from the market. This product contains a potentially toxic dose of the pesticide Cyphenothrin because the dosage appears not standardized to assure the safety of the product. There have been many complaints about this product on the internet, all describing the same symptoms (extreme agitation, tremors, respiratory distress, foaming at the mouth, vomiting, occasional seizures and/or paralysis) lasting several hours producing misery for both the pet and pet owner. Following dosage instructions is not the problem, the problem is quality control at Sergeant's. There have been many complaints filed with Sergeant's but they prefer blame the customer rather than assure the safety of their product.

I used this on my dog yesterday and was at the vet first thing this morning. He can barely walk without yelping in pain. He won't eat. My normally fun and playful pup is going downhill fast.

After using this medication my dog was pacing, twitching, panting and miserable! I quickly washed the areas with Dawn soap and rinsed him off. Still the next morning he still seems agitated. What a horrible product!
