ASI Mandatory Student Fees Refund for Pollocks Fraud Conviction sign now

ASI Judicial Case # 626:

During the 2005-2006 academic year, ASI President, Ms. Jamie Pollock, has conducted the operations and the office of ASI President in an improper, fraudulent, and inefficient manner. Due to these reasons, we object to the Pollock Administrations operational and programmatic usage of our mandatory CSULB Associated Student fees. The claim of this petition to request full 2005-2006 Associated Students Fees ($88) refunded to signatures to this petition for the deprivation of efficient, dignified, and functional student government at CSULB. As the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Ms. Pollock is responsible to know and carry out the operations of our organization free of fraud, corruption, and abuse. This petition requests that the ASI judiciary hold Jamie Pollock responsible for her improper behavior as ASI President and repair the credibility of the organization to the student body. This petition reserves the right to add more students who also share this grave concern and object to the conduct of the operation of our student government in this derelict manner.

Violations:

Jamie Pollock was found culpable of violating the AS bylaws for the misappropriation of funds to her former Campaign Manager and current Chief of Staff, Robert Godina, in ASI Judiciary Case #624.

The decision of ASI Judiciary in Case #624 found improper conduct by Jamie Pollock in the handling of the AS operations, which is in direct violation of AS Bylaws (Chapter II; Article 2; Section 2) and AS Policy on Business Ethics and Conduct.

The decision of ASI Judiciary in Case #624 found misappropriation of funds by Jamie Pollock in the handling of the executive officers of AS, which is in direct violation of AS Bylaws (Chapter II; Article 2; Section 2) and AS Policy on Fraud.

The decision of ASI Judiciary in Case #624 found inefficient operations of AS government by Jamie Pollock for improperly compensating the AS Chief of Staff and not paying the AS Administrator, which forced the Administrator to resign due to lack of compensation, which is in direct violation of AS Bylaws (Chapter II; Article 2; Section 2) and AS Policy on Fraud.

Due to these findings, the petition finds the improper conduct, fraudulent appropriation of funds, and offensive programmatic use of mandatory student funds by President Jamie Pollock to in violation of several ASI Bylaws and policies. The loss of personal control of our funds have deprived the signatories of this petition the alterative usage of these funds toward tuition, parking permits, subscriptions to scholarly journals, health care costs, academic travel, school supplies, and any other purpose that actually contributed to our educational advancement.
