Apple Shuns Band-Aid's Famine Relief sign now

Apple has chosen not to include the re-recording of Band-Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas" in their iTunes Music Store. Why? Because it's too expensive. Yes, the proceeds go to charity, but Apple still thinks that the track is too expensive.

Apparently, Apple's marketing department wants to be able to say that all the songs in their store cost the equivalent of 99 cents, and the Band-Aid track would break the rules.

And why should Apple break the rules just to help feed starving Africans?

This petition says "shame on you, Apple," and requests that the track is included in iTunes Music Stores in the U.S. and the U.K., regardless of the price.
