Kamal Haasan is a four time National Film Award winning Indian film actor. He is known as one of the best actors that India have ever produced and he is one of the highest paid actors in India.He is also wellknown for his talents as a Movie Director, Producer, Singer and Story Writer. He began his career as a child artist in many films, while also attending a theatre for stage plays. Kamal Haasan has acted in over two hundred Indian films in various languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam,Kannada and even a silent film. He has a huge number of fans all over India irrespective of the languages and there is more fan following particularly in South India. He has huge fan following among the Indian population worldwide in countries such as Srilanka, Malaysia, Singapore, UK, US, Canada and other European Countries.

Kamal Hassan has received India's fourth highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri for his services to Indian cinema in 1990 itself.Kamal is one among the two actors to receive three National Film Awards for Best Actor in India. Seven of his movies have been sent as India's official entry to the OSCARS. He also won the National Award for Best Child Actor for his performance in Kalathur Kannamma. He has also received the best actor award at the Asian Film festivals held in 1983 and 1985. The highest number of Film Fare awards has been won by Kamal Hassan and he has won it a record eighteen times.

He was conferred an honorary doctorate by Sathyabama University, Chennai in 2005.Kamal was also conferred with a unique honour this year(2007) as "Living Legend" in the film business by FICCI,India.

All the awards presented to him were for his artistic talent. He got the first Abraham Kovoor National Award for his Humanist Activities and Secular Life.Kamal Hassan also was conferred the Nandi Award 20 times in his lifetime.His dream project titled "Marudhanayagam" was inaugurated about 8 years ago with much fanfare in the presence of Her Highness Queen Elizabeth II who was then on a visit to Chennai.

Considering all the above reasons, we consider that it would be a great honour to have a Legend of Indian Cinema Kamal Hassan waxwork at Madame Tussaud's and it would definitely attract a huge number of crowd to Madame Tussaud's, London.Hereby,we strongly support the waxwork of Dr.Kamal Hassan at London's Madame Tussaud's.
