A Petition on Behalf of Mikail Moolla Regarding His Treatment Within the Legal System and Outside sign now

A PETITION

On behalf of Mikail Moolla, family and friends, we, the signers of this petition call on the ministry of justice to re-open the case of Colleen and Mehta Youngs vs. Mikail Moolla for the sake of clearing Mikail Moollas name, to hear his side of the story, and to investigate claims of wrongdoing by the Saskatoon City Police and Mehta Youngs against Mr. Moolla that has taken a psychological, emotional and social toll on him. Let it be known that Mr. Moolla is innocent of the crimes that he has been accused of, has been wrongfully charged and convicted, that he has been subject to degrading treatment and punishment by the Saskatoon City Police Service, that Colleen and Mehta Youngs have deliberately spread false and vicious rumours of Mr. Moollas personality and history, out of ignorance, in the effort of preventing Mr. Moolla from "making any new friends," that Mr. Moolla has been subject to malicious prosecution lead by Colleen Youngs, Mehta Youngs and Michael Segue, and that Mr. Moollas human rights have been violated and that he has received unfair treatment by the Saskatoon City Police, the judicial system and the community at large.

Because of the severity of the treatment, Mr. Moolla has been for the past three years unable to secure employment, have been shunned by the community at large, further agitating his emotional and psychological torment and adding to the suffering he had undergone from the hands of bullies, whom Mehta Youngs is friends with, years prior, and has been further emotionally and psychologically scarred from acts against him in his attempts to speak out, to clear his name, to expose and criticise and confront his accusers and their friends, and to seek justice through legal means. Mehta is responsible for deliberately causing further emotional and psychological trauma through verbal abuse, threats of legal action and use of police force in response to Mr. Moollas attempts at dialogue and exposure, thus frustrating efforts to generate understanding and a peaceful resolution.

We also call upon the Justice Minister to re-examine the incident of assault of June 7th, 2006 that resulted in a false arrest, an illegal search and seizure, illegal detention, denial of medical attention, and wrongful conviction in relation to accusations of Mr. Moolla and the possession of a machete. We also call a public inquiry into the incident, and that the officers involved be discharged from the force, and that the judge responsible for the illegal ruling against Mr. Moolla, including an unfair extreme punishment on a 10-year ban for Mr. Moolla to possess any firearms or weapons of any kind, and the possession of Mr. Moollas machete, and that the internal inquiry into the matter be declared null and void. We call upon the justice minister to strip the judge of his judicial powers and to have him serve a maximum of 10 years in prison for obstruction of justice.

We also, upon signature, recognise that the judicial system of this province has been deliberately trampling upon the rights of individual citizens, suspects and inmates, that the judicial system is unwilling to mend its ways or the way it deals with suspected and convicted persons, and that the idea of the Saskatchewan justice system being liberal and fair is absurd in the highest degree.
