A letter to the President - Please reduce annual abortions sign now

Dear Future President,

We are Pro-Choice, Pro-Life, Republican and Democrat. We have many differences, but today we join together because we all value life. We have been distracted and focused on whether abortion should be legal or not legal and in that time over 40 million abortions have occurred. None of us are proud of 40 million abortions or 1.3 million abortions on average per year. Together we believe its time for a different focus. We want to see our representative Republicans and Democrats work together to reduce the number of annual abortions even while they may still disagree on Roe v Wade.

How about considering and compromising when necessary on some of these ideas as well as new ideas not listed:
Please consider the Ultrasound Informed Consent Act - http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-2075. Some estimate that as many as 90\% of women leaning towards having an abortion will choose not to. Lets say its not even that high. Lets go with 20\%. If we only do this we can reduce our annual abortions to just below a million. Admittedly this was a Republican idea, so to be fair we want solutions from both sides.
Universal Healthcare - Admittedly a Democrat party idea but maybe not a terrible one. Turns out 60\% of evangelicals actually favor democratic ideas (economist magazine Oct 4 2008) on this topic, so a balanced plan that retains our current private system, preserves quality, promotes competition, and only marginally increases Government spending by preventing costly last minute emergency room visits may be in order. The cost of delivering a baby can be from $9,000 to $25,000 if there are complications. We like our private system, we just want more people to be able to take advantage of it. Maybe some unborn babies will be saved too.
Increase tax deductions for children, and make adoption easier and less expensive.
Hold men accountable It takes two to tango, but often times the woman makes this decision alone. Find ways to make it easier to identify the father, and hold him accountable for child care payments. He should help pay for any uncovered costs related to the pregnancy as well as continued childcare. Even if a single mom gets married later and the husband chooses to adopt the child the biological father should still be obligated to make childcare payments for the child he helped conceive.
Take a stand on partial birth abortions, and babies born alive. Only 8\% of Americans support these things and they are probably the doctors getting paid to do them.

Please consider the following fact Over 90\% of Americans are against abortion as over 90\% want some limits on Abortion. Consider this polling data and vote pro-abortion at your own risk of office. Americans expect results and reduced annual abortions.

1. Abortion should never be permitted under any circumstance 13\%

2. Abortion should only be allowed to save the life of the mother 15\%

3. Abortion should only be allowed in the cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother 32\%

4. Abortion should only be allowed during the first 3 months of the pregnancy 24\%

5. Abortion should only be allowed during the first 6 months of the pregnancy 8\%

6. Abortion should be available to a woman at any time she wants one during her entire pregnancy. 8\%
