216th Presbyterian General Assembly's Shameful Decision sign now

The Presbyterian Church (USA), in its 216th General Assembly, has voted to divest from only one country in the world, Israel. What they're going to do is very simple: they're going to prepare a list of companies that earn more than one million dollars a year from investments in Israel or those that invest more than one million dollars a year in Israel. This list is going to be sent to church leaders, who will divest from every company on the list. The assembly also came to the resolution that Israel is responsible for the Palestinian slaughter of Israelis, saying that the occupation is the "root" of the terrorism. This canard ignores the reality that the Palestinian leadership opted for murder and violence as the tactic of choice well before there was any occupation, and that the leaders of Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad have vowed to continue murdering Jews after the occupation ends, as long as the Jewish state exists. This resolution calls for the end of Israel, just by insisting on "the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland". It also condemns Israel for its military action to protect its citizens.
I don't think that the American Presbyterian community would want their church to support terrorism; the Presbyterian resolution is so one-sided, so anti-Zionist in its rhetoric and so ignorant of the realities on the ground that it can only be explained by the kind of bigotry that the Presbyterian Church itself condemned in 1987 when it promised "never again to participate in, to contribute to, or (insofar as we are able) to allow the persecution or denigration of Jews."
Please don't support this decision made by the Presbyterian General Assembly, otherwise, the only democracy in the Middle East will be destroyed.
