Council Tax : Why is more than a quarter of it paying Government workers' pensions? sign now

At least 25% of the council tax that you pay is contributing to Government workers' pensions. If you don't work for the government are the government workers contributing to your pension? NO! So why shouldn't Government workers pay for their own pensions? Non-Government workers are paying for their pensions AND those of Government workers. This seems so unfair. Making them pay higher (or any) contributions would greatly reduce everyone's Council Tax.
