Abandon Edinburgh Tram Project sign now

We, the below signed, hereby petition the Scottish Government and the City of Edinburgh Council, to exercise damage limitation and abandon the unwanted Edinburgh Trams project. We feel that the project does not reflect good value for money and has left our world famous capital city in a state of disrepair. From its conception, it was obvious that this project would run over its budget. The project is now estimated to cost circa £700m rather than the initial £375m initially forecast. We feel that this project will reap little or no benefits to the city of Edinburgh, compared to what could be achieved by redirecting its funding to more worthwhile projects.
