Upgrades to Telstra services for Moranbah sign now

With the influx of personnel to regional towns to resource the mining inductry, the draw on essential services such as telecommunications networks and internet services have been greatly under-managed. During peak hours of operation, namely 5:00pm to 10:00pm at night, the draw on Telstra services for internet and telecommunications creates a severe depression in the services capabilities to provide fast, effective internet or communications, without dropping out and signal loss.
This affects all permanent residents, FIFO and DIDO workers and visitors to the regional centre, who are not able to utilise the services when they require them to contact loved ones, undergo business transactions and access internet facilities.
This petition is to raise the signatures required to inform, and hopefully motivate the local, state and federal government, as well as the communications providers to upgrade the current facilities and infrastructure to increase internet speeds and capabilities and to proved a consistent network for telecommunications.
