Pulling the Plug on Nova Scotia Power sign now

Over the past 9 yrs. the Public Utility and Review Brd of NS has granted a total of 6 power rate increases to Nova Scotia Power. The latest increase of 9% is causing major financial hardship for the ratepayers of the province of Nova Scotia. There is a major disconnect happening by those in power toward the ratepayers of Nova Scotia Power. The current NDP government with it's silence on this matter is in effect telling the citizentry of NS that it doesn't care! The objective of this petition is to bring the NS NDP, the URB and NSP to be accountable to the people of Nova Scotia. We are calling on the current NDP government to conduct an audit of NSP and a review of the mandate of the URB.
